Assistant Vice President – IT & System – Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President – Operations & Systems and working closely with the Operations & Systems team, the Assistant Vice President – IT & Systems will coordinate Azorra’s relationship with its Managed Service Provider (MSP) and support delivery of business systems, integrations, automation and data initiatives. The role acts as the primary liaison between business users, vendors and technology partners, coordinating support activities, access requests, system changes and project delivery. The position requires strong business systems, vendor management and stakeholder coordination skills, together with working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric. Technical support, platform administration and cybersecurity responsibilities remain with the MSP and designated Azorra leaders. This detail-oriented and proactive role will play an integral part in supporting treasury operations, maintaining financial data integrity, ensuring timely reporting, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Contracts, Technical and Legal teams.

• MSP Service Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between Azorra users and the MSP, coordinating onboarding, offboarding, access requests, device provisioning, support tickets and service escalations. 
• Business Requirements & Analysis: Gather, document and translate business requirements into functional specifications for vendors and implementation partners.
• Systems & Integration Delivery: Coordinate system implementations and integrations, including requirements, data flows, vendor activities, testing, issue resolution, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.
• Delivery Governance: Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reporting and decision records, escalating risks, budget concerns and delivery issues as required.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate third-party vendors and implementation partners, monitoring performance, deliverables and agreed timelines.
• Systems Implementation: Support implementation and enhancement of Salesforce-based leasing solutions, SUN/WMS, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and related business platforms.
• Microsoft Platform Coordination: Support business requirements, reporting, automation, data initiatives and access management across Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform and Fabric in coordination with the MSP and specialist vendors.
• Testing & Change Management: Coordinate user acceptance testing, deployment activities, training, communications and post-implementation support.
• Governance & Controls: Maintain project documentation and audit records, and escalate security, access-control, service or delivery risks through established governance processes.

Qualifications

Key Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years of business systems, systems implementation, vendor management or technology delivery experience within aviation, financial services or comparable environments.
• Outsourced Service Experience: Experience working with outsourced IT service providers, including user lifecycle management, ticket governance, access requests, service escalations and vendor coordination.
• Microsoft Platform Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric, sufficient to understand business requirements, coordinate control and security matters, and support project delivery and vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Salesforce-based leasing, CRM or workflow platforms, SUN/WMS or similar business systems.
• Knowledge of aviation leasing processes, lease management systems or aircraft asset data.
• Experience supporting software implementations, integrations, testing and data initiatives.
