Reporting to the Vice President – Commercial and working closely with other members of the team, the Analyst will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will be an important role in the Commercial and newly created Asset Strategy team, sitting at the intersection of commercial, technical, financial, and market analysis, with direct responsibility for evaluating asset-level decisions across the full lifecycle—from acquisition through lease structuring, mid-life optimization, and exit.

These initial key responsibilities will be expanded upon as the company grows, the role expands and after an assessment of the skills of the Analyst and the needs of Azorra.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President – Commercial and working closely with other members of the team, the Analyst will be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and will be an important role in the Commercial and newly created Asset Strategy team, sitting at the intersection of commercial, technical, financial, and market analysis, with direct responsibility for evaluating asset-level decisions across the full lifecycle—from acquisition through lease structuring, mid-life optimization, and exit.

• Develop and support aircraft-level and portfolio-level strategies, including acquisition rationale, lease term optimization, and exit planning.
• Analyze asset performance across the lifecycle, including cash flows, returns, utilization, and residual value outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance asset value through re-leasing strategies, lease restructurings, part-out considerations, or asset sales.
• Support long-term fleet and portfolio planning aligned with market trends and company strategy.
• Perform detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis for aircraft acquisitions, lease placements, and sales.
• Evaluate commercial and technical assumptions impacting investment performance, including lease rates, maintenance condition, and remarketing risk.
• Prepare asset-level investment memoranda and recommendations for internal committees and senior management.
• Support M&A, portfolio trades, and capital deployment initiatives as required.
• Monitor aircraft market fundamentals, including supply/demand dynamics, operator profiles, lease rate trends, and manufacturer developments.
• Maintain asset-type and market views to inform investment and disposition decisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to integrate market intelligence into asset strategy.
• Develop portfolio and asset strategy reporting for senior management, the Board, and investors.
• Create materials that clearly articulate asset strategy, risks, and value drivers across the fleet.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis in support of strategic decisions and external communications.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field (Mathematics, Finance, Economics Data Analytics).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a pro-active approach.
• The ability to model complex asset-backed lease and financial transactions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• A team player with strong collaborative skills and desire to work in a dynamic and growing environment.
• Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in and outside the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Strong knowledge of aviation/aircraft leasing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
• A demonstrated proficiency and willingness to embrace the use of AI to streamline workflows and enhance analytical capabilities.
• Python or similar coding experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English; we are in an international business and languages other than English are a plus.
