Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated AVP or VP – Portfolio Managementto join our team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering with the Operations team, this role supports the management of Azorra’s aircraft and engine lease, sale, and other commercial contracts. The role ensures key contractual terms are accurately captured, monitored, and reflected in internal systems and reporting.

These initial key responsibilities will be expanded upon as the company grows and the role expands based on the needs of Azorra.

• Review and interpret complex asset lease and sale agreements, as well as ownership and financing structures
• Extract, document, and maintain key contract terms, ensuring accurate entry in internal systems
• Monitor compliance with contractual terms throughout the contract lifecycle, including tracking key dates, events, and obligations
• Identify data issues, inconsistencies, or risks, and escalate as appropriate
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to strengthen portfolio management, controls, and data accuracy
• Coordinate with Legal, Technical, Finance, Trading, Marketing, and other internal teams to support our airline customers and ensure contract terms are followed
• Support internal portfolio reporting, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in portfolio management or contract/asset management within leasing, aviation, or asset-based industries
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field is a plus
• Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to manage high-value, complex transactions and contracts
• Strong collaboration skills and interest in working in a dynamic, growing environment
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling confidential information and sensitive transactions
• Ability to show initiative and be forward-thinking
• Analytically minded with a proactive approach
• An open-minded and problem-solving attitude
• Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, both within and outside the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and experience with lease management systems (LeaseWorks a plus)
• Fluency in English required; we are in an international business and languages other than English are a plus.

• AVP level: Hands-on execution with growing ownership and accountability
• VP level: Increased autonomy, oversight of complex transactions, leadership of process and controls improvements, and potential for team management responsibility
