Azorra welcomes newest member of our Technical Team, Boris Streun!

Ewen Mathieson, Chief Technical Officer, said “We’re excited to welcome Boris Streun to both the Azorra team and our technical department. Boris has extensive experience that spans all facets of the technical area on commercial aircraft, including engineering, technical services, and leasing. He is set to play a crucial role in enhancing our offering to customers as we step into a new phase of growth and diversification for Azorra.” 

Boris joined Azorra in January 2024 and serves as our Vice President – Technical.

Boris has over 30 years of experience in aircraft leasing and manufacturing. Prior to joining Azorra, Boris served as Senior Vice President – Technical at Voyager Aviation Holdings providing technical oversight of the Voyager aircraft fleet.

Boris started his career at The Boeing Company and expanded his skillset with roles in engineering, customer support, project management, and sales of aftermarket products and services. In 2018, Boris joined the Boeing Capital Corporation as a Portfolio Marketing Director focusing on Asset Management. He then joined AerSale in 2020 as SVP of Technical Services with responsibility including the sales, marketing, and product delivery of in-house developed Engineered Solutions.

Boris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical/Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
