Azorra Aviation is pleased to welcome Ron Baur as its President.

With over 30 years of industry experience with a major airline and OEM, Ron brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Azorra. His responsibilities will include the day-to-day operations of Azorra, executing the strategic plan and maintaining the OEM relationships. John Evans, Azorra’s CEO, said “Ron will be a valuable addition to the Azorra team and I look forward to working with him to build Azorra into a world class leasing platform. Ron’s broad experience, deep relationships and proven track record for creativity will be instrumental in helping Azorra achieve its goals.”

Prior to joining Azorra, Ron was Senior Vice President of Global Leasing and Strategy for Embraer Commercial Aviation. Before Embraer, he spent 27 years at Continental Airlines and United Airlines where he was, most recently, Vice President of Fleet. “I am very excited to join the Azorra team,” said Ron. “With Azorra’s highly experienced team, clean sheet platform and the backing of Oaktree Capital Management, we are very well positioned to capitalize on the dislocation in our segment and rapidly grow our platform.
