Ron joined Azorra in May 2021 and serves as our President with responsibility for day-to-day operations, executing our strategic plan, and maintaining OEM relationships and Human Resources.
Ron brings over 30 years’ of industry experience working with major airlines and OEMs.
Prior to joining Azorra, Ron was Senior Vice President of Global Leasing and Strategy for Embraer Commercial Aviation. Ron was responsible for managing Embraer’s lessors globally, developing sales strategies to increase commercial aviation sales in campaigns around the world and increasing Embraer’s customer base through the placement of used aircraft.
Prior to joining Embraer, Ron spent 27 years at Continental Airlines and United Airlines after the merger working in areas of increasing responsibility within Operations and Finance. Most recently Ron was the Vice President of Fleet at United Airlines. During Ron’s tenure, he led a cross functional team that acquired more than 500 new aircraft such as the 787, 737MAX, A350 and E175 and managed the orderly lease return or sale of a similar number of aircraft. Ron’s work in Fleet required extensive experience in negotiating large, complex multi-billion-dollar aircraft and engine maintenance agreements under favorable terms and conditions while retaining significant fleet flexibility and industry leading economics.
Ron has an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from California State University. Ron previously served on the Board of ISTAT and the Wings Club.

Sarah joined Azorra in January 2024 and serves as our Office Manager and Human Resources Administration.
Prior to joining Azorra, Sarah served as Office Manager & Accounts Payable Analyst at Voyager Aviation Holdings. Prior to working at Voyager Aviation Holdings, Sarah worked in the hospitality industry for over 12 years.
Sarah holds a degree in Multimedia from DCU, a degree in Digital Marketing from DBS, and a certificate in HR management from TUS.

Eliane joined Azorra in January 2023 and serves as our Vice President – Commercial.
Prior to joining Azorra, Eliane served as the Director of Sales & Business Development for F/LIST USA, an aircraft interiors company. Eliane joined F/LIST in 2018 and her primary responsibility was to open their 9th subsidiary in Fort Lauderdale and build up the business in the US.
Previously, Eliane served as a Customer Account Manager for Bombardier’s Commercial Aircrafts in the Africa and Middle East Region. Eliane worked very closely with the Sales and Marketing team in order to support current customers as well as potential new customer. Additionally, Eliane took part of the development of the A220 and, as part of the team, successfully brought the aircraft from its first flight to entry into service.
Eliane began her career as an intern for Pratt and Whitney Canada and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Laura joined Azorra in October 2020 and serves as our Vice President - Human Resources and Administration.
Prior to joining Azorra, Laura held pivotal roles in human resources at aircraft leasing companies including Nordic Aviation Capital, Jetscape Aviation Group, Indigo Aviation AB and Regional One. Laura has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, benefits planning, training, and development.

Sydney Johnston joined Azorra in October 2023 and serves as our Marketing & Events Manager.
Prior to joining Azorra, Sydney was a Marketing Intern at Breeze Airways, where she managed the company’s social media platforms, coordinated social and business events for airports and partners, and worked closely with the Guest Empowerment Team to improve customer experience.
Sydney holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Utah Valley University. Sydney is currently a student pilot seeking to obtain a Private Pilot’s License.

Fedor joined Azorra in May 2022 and serves as our Analyst.
Prior to joining Azorra, Fedor interned at FTAI Aviation, where he was responsible for modeling purchase and lease cash flows for aircraft and engines, as well as drafting credit analyses of current and potential lessees. He also interned with DAHER Aircraft in Sales & Marketing department supporting the sales campaign of the TBM aircraft.
Fedor holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Business Administration and a Master of Science in Aviation Finance from Embry-Riddle-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is also an ISTAT University graduate through Embry-Riddle and an FAA Commercial Multi Engine pilot certificate holder.

Vaclav joined Azorra in January 2025 and serves as our Analyst after completing a summer internship.
Prior to joining Azorra, Vaclav interned at Didot Packaging and Exponex. In these roles, Vaclav encompassed a broad range of responsibilities, including client relationship management, audit oversight, and project execution.
Vaclav holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on propulsion and a Master’s Degree in Aviation Finance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He also competed as a varsity athlete on the university's rowing team, after previously representing the Junior Rowing Team of the Czech Republic.

Shahin joined Azorra in August 2025 and serves as our Vice President – Engine Programs and Support Solutions.
Prior to joining Azorra, Shahin served as Manager – Acquisitions and Engineering Services for Delta Material Services (DMS), a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. As part of a team that manages engine leasing and acquisitions, Shahin was directly responsible for implementing and growing Delta’s engine leasing and purchasing strategy across all engine types.
Prior to joining DMS, Shahin spent four years at Delta Air Lines in interiors engineering and Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT), a subcontractor to NASA, where he learned to manage the life support and emergency systems on the International Space Station from Mission Control in Houston, Texas.
Shahin holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also a commercial rated pilot.

Oscar joined Azorra in August 2023 and serves as our Senior Vice President – Trading and Sustainability.
Oscar brings over 18 years of aircraft leasing experience where he has developed an extensive network while originating deals around with airlines in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Azorra, Oscar was the Managing Director - Head of Marketing RMEA at Nordic Aviation Capital. Oscar started his career at Jetscape and spent 11 years working in Marketing and Finance helping to successfully grow the Jetscape platform.
Oscar has a Master of Economics and Finance from Jönköping International Business School in Jönköping, Sweden.

Charlotte joined Azorra in August 2023 as an Assistant Vice President - Contracts, and now serves as our Assistant Vice President – Commercial Transactions
Prior to joining Azorra, Charlotte served as Assistant Vice President of Contracts with Zephyrus Aviation Capital where she was actively involved in managing the contracts department and developing processes and procedures related to transaction, contract and document management.
Charlotte began her career in aviation at Jetscape in 2007 as a Contract Manager, and later as Assistant Vice President of Contracts, where she focused on managing transactions and relationships with airlines on a worldwide basis. In 2016, Jetscape was acquired by Nordic Aviation Capital, where she assisted in the development and growth of the transaction legal group.
Charlotte holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Broward College, as well as a Certificate in Contracts Law from Harvard Law School and is fluent in French (native).

Eleanor Rodrigues-Smith joined Azorra in June 2023 and serves as our Senior Vice President – Commercial Transactions.
Prior to joining Azorra, Eleanor served as Vice President, Commercial at Nordic Aviation Capital, with primary responsibility of leading negotiations and project management of leasing, financing, sales and purchase transactions as well as managing the day-to-day commercial operations.
Eleanor began her career at Bombardier Inc. as part of the Marketing team involved in the launch of the CRJ aircraft. During her 25 years at Bombardier, Eleanor held various management positions in Contracts, Customer Support and Asset Management working with airlines, MROs, banks, and lessors. Her responsibilities included developing and structuring transactions, negotiations, account/portfolio management and customer relationship management. She participated in numerous business development projects including the DHC-8-400 firefighter, CRJ and EMB 120 freighter conversion programs and A220 sales to lessors.
Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from York University in Toronto, Canada.

Andrew joined Azorra in July 2019 and serves as our Vice President – Commercial.
Prior to joining Azorra, Andrew served as the Senior Manager of Nordic Aviation Capital’s financial planning and analysis (FP&A) group. Andrew joined Nordic Aviation Capital in 2016 following its acquisition of Jetscape Aviation Group, and his primary responsibilities included corporate financial forecasting and commercial pricing on large portfolio acquisitions and sales. In addition, Andrew served as a Director of Eagle I Limited (EGLE) 2014-1, a twenty-one aircraft securitization (ABS).
Previously, Andrew served in several finance capacities with Jetscape Aviation Group from 2011 through 2019. At Jetscape, Andrew worked closely with senior management overseeing many aspects of the company’s corporate finance department, including forecasting, budgeting, and most other FP&A tasks relating to investor, debt, and rating agency processes. Andrew also acted as the administrator of Jetscape’s Eagle I Limited ABS. In addition, Andrew supported Jetscape’s sales and marketing team through the development of the company’s commercial pricing model.
Andrew began his career in the shipping industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Maritime Business from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

Yuxuan joined Azorra in April 2024 and serves as Assistant Vice President – Pricing and Trading.
Prior to joining Azorra, Yuxuan held the position of Assistant Vice President - Pricing and Data Science at Zephyrus Aviation Capital. At Zephyrus, Yuxuan was responsible for pricing for new acquisitions and fleet management, playing a pivotal role in developing the in-house pricing platform. Her contributions extended to maintaining relationships with trading counterparts in China. As one of the initial members of the Data Science team, Yuxuan leveraged cutting-edge technology to enhance trading and commercial activities.
Yuxuan holds a Bachelor of Finance from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, complemented by a Master's in Aviation Finance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
