Azorra is pleased to announce the execution of definitive purchase agreements to acquire portfolios comprising 49 Embraer E-Jet aircraft and two General Electric CF-34 engines from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd (“DAE”). The aircraft are leased to twelve different customers worldwide.
This strategic acquisition highlights Azorra’s continued execution of its diversified growth strategy through mergers, acquisitions and opportunistic portfolio purchases. It follows the successful acquisition of Voyager Aviation Holdings in 2023 and the prior acquisitions of 48 aircraft formerly owned by Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) in two separate transactions.
“We’re excited to add these high-quality, current-generation assets to Azorra’s growing fleet and to further strengthen our global customer base,” said John Evans, CEO of Azorra. “These reliable and proven aircraft complement our commitment to new technology crossover jets, reflecting our confidence in the growing demand within this segment. We’re also pleased to begin a new partnership with DAE, a respected global leader in commercial aircraft leasing.”
The acquisition enhances Azorra’s position as a market leader in the crossover and regional aircraft segments. It will meaningfully expand the company’s portfolio of owned, managed and committed aircraft and engines, while reinforcing Azorra’s ability to scale and execute complex, high-impact investments that deliver long-term value for customers and stakeholders.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Closings will commence immediately and are expected to be completed by late 2025.
