We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics & Finance Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data visualization, programming, data science, and finance, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data-driven decision-making, financial analysis, problem-solving, and commercial aviation.

Data Analytics & Finance Intern – Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Visualization & Reporting

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to communicate key insights effectively.
• Assist in designing data-driven visualizations to support business and financial analysis.
• Present complex datasets in a clear and meaningful way to aid decision-making.

2. Programming & Data Integration

• Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and model development.
• Work with SQL to query and manage datasets efficiently.
• Support data integration efforts by working with APIs and multiple data sources.
• Gain exposure to database structures and data normalization techniques.
• Assist in projects involving Salesforce integration (preferred but not required).

3. Data Science & Analytics

• Apply data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation techniques to prepare datasets for analysis.
• Use statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to generate insights.
• Support data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytical tools and methodologies.
• Work with Excel and VBA for financial and analytical modeling.

4. Finance & Business Analytics

• Assist in financial data analysis, leveraging investment metrics and accounting principles.
• Support in interpreting financial model outputs and applying them to real-world business scenarios.
• Gain exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience or coursework in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data science principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret financial models and data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint); prior experience. with contract database or management software required.
• Fluent in English; we are in an international business and languages other than English are a plus.
