Azorra Aviation Holdings, LLC. (“Azorra”) is a relationship-driven commercial aircraft lessor, providing lease, financing, and asset management solutions with a focus on regional, crossover and small narrowbody aircraft.

Our team is led by industry veterans with a shared history of success and a wealth of experience in aircraft leasing. We aim to become the leading lessor in its segment, with a core focus on regional, small narrowbody and new technology crossover aircraft.

We are an early-stage company poised for substantial growth and recently announced that we have entered into an agreement with investment funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. (“Oaktree”), under which Oaktree and our founders have committed to invest $350 million to expand Azorra’s commercial aircraft leasing business.

Since our inception, we have completed transactions on over 50 aircraft. We currently own and manage 17 aircraft and have purchase and lease commitments on an additional 32 aircraft.

Staff Accountant – Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Accounting Manager and working closely with other management, the Staff Accountant will be based in Fort Lauderdale and play a vital role in our Accounting team.

• Prepare month end close workpapers
• Book all monthly entries
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Complete internal and external reports as needed
• Maintain the organization of the paperless environment
• Collaborate with others in the department to support overall department goals and objectives
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department
• Document workflows and understanding of processes
• Complete other assignments and projects as directed

Professional Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
• Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in and outside the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• We are in an international business, languages other than English are a plus
