Azorra takes delivery of its first new Airbus A220

Azorra is pleased to announce that it has delivered one new Airbus A220-300, MSN 55129, on long-term lease to airBaltic. This aircraft is Azorra’s first A220 and the first of three new A220s to be delivered to airBaltic as part of a sale and leaseback transaction with Azorra.

This delivery marks airBaltic’s 30th A220 in their fleet, making airBaltic one of the largest A220 operators in the world. “We are thrilled to welcome Azorra as a new investor in our leading Airbus product portfolio, recognizing its premium value. We look forward to building on this milestone first delivery for many more Airbus aircraft in the years to come. Azorra, airBaltic and Airbus celebrated this delivery event at Airbus’s A220 facility in Mirabel, Canada. The aircraft will enter service with airBaltic in the coming weeks.
