Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President- Tax and working closely with the accounting and finance team, this position primarily focuses on preparing, managing, and overseeing the Irish and other non-US compliance obligations across the group. You will ensure the business remains fully tax compliant across jurisdictions while contributing commercially relevant insights to the structuring and execution of deals.

• Preparation or review of the Irish and non-US corporation tax returns ensuring all filings are accurate and deadlines are met.
• Manage the bi-monthly VAT compliance with AP and accounting team to ensure validity of invoices and refunds are processed timely
• Assist in preparing the quarterly tax provisioning file for investor reporting.
• Prepare tax provisions and financial statement tax disclosures for Irish group entities for audit purposes.
• Monitor and manage tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (France, Canada, Sweden, Slovakia, UK, Singapore, Spain)
• Assist with tax audits, treaty claims, Revenue interventions, and information requests from tax authorities across relevant jurisdictions.
• Maintain and organise all entity tax records and tax files.
• Maintain the company structure chart in a timely manner.
• Together with the AVP Tax, ensure transfer pricing policy is followed on all intercompany transactions together with the accounting team.
• Liaise with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of reporting and filing requirements.
• Provide clear, commercially focused tax input across the team on tax queries and requests such as IRS forms, TRCs, Tax IDs, transfer pricing rate.
• Monitor Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) to protect Irish tax residency conditions and ensure Section 110 compliance.
• Exposure in assisting the deal team with transaction taxes as required.
• Support the development of best-practice tax processes and internal controls across the business

Professional Qualifications

• 4-7 years of corporate tax experience with a Big Four Firm or Aircraft Leasing company with demonstrated ability to manage tax compliance obligations independently.
• Professional accounting or tax qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CTA or equivalent).
• Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of CT compliance, current and deferred taxation.
• Exposure to international tax, preferably in aviation (desirable but not required).
• Willingness to learn and manage the Irish VAT compliance.
• Proven organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and with external advisors.
• Self-driven, detail-focused, keen to learn and adaptable.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• A team player with strong collaborative skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Working proficiency with Alphatax, Revenue Online Service (ROS).
• Fluent in English; we are an international business and languages other than English are a plus.
